Your day begins with a comfortable morning departure from Thessaloniki with De Tour Transfer. The route follows the Egnatia Odos motorway through Grevena, offering smooth travel and scenic mountain views as you approach the region of Meteora. 

When you arrive, the tour begins with a panoramic drive around the entire Meteora complex. You see all six active monasteries from different angles, stopping at the best viewpoints for photos of the cliffs and the suspended monasteries. 

Before visiting the main monastery, you stop at Badova to see the historic rock caves. This impressive spot shows how the earliest monks lived in simple cavities carved into the rocks long before the large monasteries were built. 

You then enter one monastery, usually Varlaam or the Great Meteoron, depending on which is open that day. Inside, you explore the chapels, frescoes, relics and the peaceful atmosphere that reflects centuries of monastic life. 

After the monastery visit, the panoramic route continues with more opportunities to enjoy the views and capture photos of the surrounding landscape.
